The Audit Committee reviews financial records, provides a documented report to the Board of Directors, makes budgetary recommendations, and submits a summary report to the Secretary and President after the Annual Meeting.

The Awards Committee organizes the recognition of exemplary mathematics teachers of Black students, including BEAM, and the William Greer Scholarship Award at the Annual Meeting by distributing nomination applications, evaluating submissions, and making recommendations to the Board for awardees.

Constitution and By-Laws

The Constitution and By-Laws Revision Committee conducts a thorough review of The Association's organizational structure, processes, and procedures, gathers input to assess the necessity for changes in the Constitution, By-Laws, and Policy Manual, and proposes any required revisions to the Board of Directors and the membership in accordance with The Association's Constitution.

The Educational Policies Committee creates position papers, workshops, and seminars and collaborates with others to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics for Black students.

The Finance/Fundraising committee of BBA is responsible for supporting the management of the organization's financial resources, budgeting, and implementing fundraising strategies to secure necessary funds for its educational programs and initiatives.
This committee meets on the 4th Monday of every month at 8PM - 8:45 PM Eastern.

The NCTM Committee collects and reports information on NCTM related activities, reviews and recommends proposals for the BBA Strand for the NCTM Annual Conference program, represents BBA at the NCTM Delegate Meeting, and advises the Board on suitable actions concerning NCTM affiliation.
